The Boundaries of Our Mats

Lessons we learn on the mat can translate into lessons to implement in our lives.   Boundaries we develop or don’t develop on the mat can inform or reflect boundaries we have off of it.  For each situation, each class, we look for a balance between openness and protection.  There are times we need to push and others when its better to back down. There are boundaries that protect and serve us and those that limit us.  This workshop will begin with a 15-minute discussion about defining and identifying boundaries followed by a 60-minute Blue Light flow designed specifically to provide students with opportunities to push themselves or back down in their asana practice, and conclude with a 15-minute discussion about participants’ experiences and how they may or may not see parallels between boundaries on and off their mat.
