Come and experience how backbends can be effortless! It all starts in the legs and arms—the pillars of all backbends. When we tap into the strength of our legs and arms and set up our backbends with precision, we enable the spine to open. In this workshop, we will learn to use the legs and arms to create integration and strength. We will also learn to move the focal point of our backbends to the middle and upper back to achieve freedom in the lower back. This is a great opportunity to rebuild your backbends from the ground up—protecting yourself against common risks and challenging yourself to overcome obstacles or resistance you may have experienced in the past. Mostly asana. Bring a block and a strap.
