Slackline Fundamentals
Limited Capacity seats available

Slackline Yoga or Slackasana is a unique practice that teaches complete body awareness. It is a moving meditation that will redefine your sense of balance and mental focus. It involves balancing on a 1 inch wide 'yoga mat' (slackline). In this 90 min Slackshop you’ll learn the basics of the Slackasana series. This includes standing (commitment), kneeling (core strength), sitting (focus), arm balancing (breath), as well as exercises for more seasoned slackers to expand their comfort zone on the line. All skill levels encouraged to come. Slacklining is great for yogis, climbers, couch potatoes, and athletes of all kinds. No experience necessary.

Slackro: Slackline Yoga + AcroYoga
Limited Capacity seats available

Drawing on the YogaSlackers expertise of yoga, slacklining and acrobatics, this workshop will be an in depth exploration moving toward redefining our perceived limits of what is possible. With the foundation of a strong vinyasa practice, we will first explore the art of inversions and dynamic balance. We will then begin the journey in earnest as we transition back and forth between acrobatics and Slackline work (Slackasana), learning how to use each other and the line to experience a whole spectrum of yogic positions including standing, kneeling, walking, arm-balance, sitting, and inversion. Practitioners will spend much of their time doing "yoga" without touching the ground! Open your mind to what is possible. No experience necessary, but experience with some body awareness practice (climbing, vinyasa yoga, dance, etc.) recommended.
