Katie Collins

Albany, NY native Katie Collins is known for her dynamic yoga classes on and off the water. Katie completed her 200-hour YTT in the summer of 2013 under the guidance of Justin Wolfer and quickly learned what it meant to embrace her practice with mind, body and SOUL! Katie began her SUP yoga journey after winning Yoga Girl’s #10daysoflove social media contest. While at Wanderlust Colorado, Katie quickly embraced the SUP culture under the guidance of teachers Rachel Brathen and Jessica Taylor. Having grown up on Lake George, Katie quickly fell in love with the idea of taking her yoga on water. Currently, Katie teaches SUP yoga in Saratoga Springs, as well as while vacationing on Cape Cod. Along with the physical practice and teachings of yoga, Katie has a passion for holistic living and is looking forward to connecting her yoga lifestyle with her health studies when she graduates nursing school in May. Katie teaches vinyasa yoga at local studios, as well as yoga for athletes at nearby colleges and at the Siena College Women’s Center. Her classes are a dynamic flow that will incorporate human body awareness with a sprinkle of strong core work, flexibility, and the journey towards inversions. Katie also is a regular blogger for Elephant Journal, ambassador for BOGA paddleboards, Jade Yoga Mats, and a model and Brand Representative for GTS clothing and her own personal journey.
